Have you ever cooked a meal on open fire in a Lappish teepee? Feel free to make a fire in our traditional Lappish teepee. We are more than happy to guide you through on how to use it safely and what you can cook there. AURORA HUNTING

SLEDDING HILL
We've built a sledding hill next to the Sleeping Cabin. Feel free to borrow our sleds – have a great time but be careful! This activity is at your own risk.
FOREST WALK
We have a private nature trail about one kilometre long that takes you through a magical arctic forest and ends by the river. It is easy for the whole family to walk through. Feel free to borrow our thermos bottle and ecological Kupilka cups to enjoy some hot chocolate after the trail. We also have some snowshoes and headlamps to borrow – just ask us.
Our principles for protecting nature during our activities:
We limit our group sizes to 6 (max. 8) participants to ensure your quality stay and avoid the impacts of mass tourism.
All our waste is systematically collected during nature activities and brought back to the lodge where it is sorted and recycled.
We have chosen reusable cups, plates and utensils from Finnish company Kupilka that we use during our activities and at the lodge.
Feel free to make a campfire in our Lappish tepee. Firewood can be found underneath the seat. Make sure the fire is out and the tepee left as it was before leaving.
Our personnel have attended first aid training and have extensive experience on Lappish culture and arctic nature – you will be in good hands.
Please enjoy your stay with us in a safe and responsible manner. Thank you!
Rovaniemi is the capital of Lapland and a popular tourist destination, so there's plenty of activities available.
Popular things to do include husky and reindeer tours, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and fatbiking. Let us know what you are interested in and we’ll find you the best activity provider in the area.
